Amazing place to take the family a little expensive but really worth it. Pizza's going to come out thin crust crunchy on the bottom, They also use cornmeal for the non stick. I've been going there for the last 20 years. Please never change. Thank you guys so much for everything you do. Your guys as long hours are worth it thank you.

Absolutely delicious pizza! I have been to a lot of pizza joints and this one embodies what one should be. Has beer on tap and giant cold glasses for them, environment is fun and entertaining to look at what they have collected on the walls. Oldies music playing your favorites. Create your own pizza or get some of the local favorites and well as specialties made by Starks. Crust is a house secret and the owners very friendly and want to be personable with their regulars and visitors alike! Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to when in Portland again!

I love this place, the pizza is awesome if you like crisp crust, it is so delicious, thin cornmeal crust, old school awesomeness!!! The service was great and the atmosphere is so comfortable and retro, just like when I was a kid 35 years ago. I have not been here in 30 years, just moved back to the neighborhood. This place is the best, I highly recommend, it is so cool without being hipster.

This is the best pizza is all of Portland and I've been saying this for over 25 years!! I recommend the pepperoni pizza with extra pepperoni. They are the cupping kind and it has a delicious crunchy cracker crust! The photo speaks for itself!! I've yet to find a better pizza around!

Fantastic pizza. I'm not typically a crust fan...but this place has fresh ingredients and the cornmeal-base crust is delicious. It's got that old-time traditional pizzeria vibe: dark wood, vintage items and signage adorn the walls. Just a really great pizza place. Friendly staff and a big salad bar.

Craving a salad bar? Hit this place up!! Walk in the breezeway and see your funny self in the mirror.. laughing as you enter the doors and enjoy the old time atmosphere. Beware of the . 15 bucks, One time through but its the Best salad bar around. So many choices, containers are always full and fresh. No brown lettuce 'round here. If you like your pizza slice to hold it's shape and stand up while you eat it, This is your place!! No sloppy pizza 'round here. Don't forget to grab a ice cold drink. If you want a bar, they have that too, in the back. Time after time, Never a bad experience here. Sorry no photos.

This is my type of pizza! Thin Chicago style, cracker-cornmeal crust! Very good salad bar, pretty dark and dingy but I think that’s the old school Chicago bar feel from the 60s... *update, still tasty bar pie but it’s 2025...update your tv situation! No one wants to watch a game on a 20” tv, only two seats in the whole restaurant can see these tiny 2001 tvs. Still love ya!*
